Kite Academy Trust

We are looking to recruit an IT Manager to work for the Kite Academy Trust.

The role will be the strategic lead of IT across the Trust, and leading a group of IT technicians working in our schools across the Trust.

The position will be on a 36 hours a week, 52 week a year contract.
The salary scale will be Tier 5 - £30,619 - £37,836 FTE depending on experience, with performance related pay to allow progression.

Purpose of the Post:

To take on a lead role in supporting IT in our schools and supporting the development of a consistent approach to IT across the Trust. Lead and support a team of technicians across the Kite to ensure schools are supported in a timely manner with any technical issues. Manage the implementation and operation of the foundation infrastructure which supports the Trust as a whole.

Summary of duties to be covered by the post:
• Support strategic development of IT across the Trust
• Develop efficient use of IT within the Trust by sharing best practice
• Lead and support a group of technicians
• Ensure IT provides a quality service to our schools and users
• Support the central leadership team with any IT decisions
• Train staff as appropriate to develop confidence in using new systems
• Administration of central systems, including access and email system (Office 365)
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers/contractors where appropriate
• Provide end user support as required
