Thinking Creative is looking for a forward-thinking individual to join our expanding Devon hub. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to advance their marketing career in a professional setting. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as an aptitude for learning systems and digital tools to create outstanding online or print communications. You will have some professional communications experience and a desire to advance your career.

 You will play an active, solution-oriented role within our schools, engaging regularly with key stakeholders to produce and manage content that communicates the schools' key messages, achievements, and upcoming events via multiple communication platforms. To ensure that campaigns are effectively communicated, you must have clear, concise, and confident communication skills to promote the organisation's vision and values.

 This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who will thrive on providing a solution-focused, approachable, and trustworthy service to our schools in Devon.


What you will need to succeed:

  • Ability to occasionally travel to our Kent and Portsmouth Hub’s to work alongside Creative team members in our Medway offices
  • Be an experienced content writer, with the ability to write engaging content to work across multiple channels 
  • Be able to work independently and use your initiative to maximise the impact of your campaign 
  • Deliver communications plans outlining key messages throughout the year
  • Experience of building and maintaining excellent working relationships with stakeholders by keeping in regular contact offering advice, solutions and information 
  • An understanding of the importance of communication and mixed channel campaigns
  • Be organised, confident and approachable with a solution focused approach to your work
  • Ability to develop and maintain our social media accounts. Ensuring they are regularly updated to communicate key messages
  • Knowledge of using CMS would be desirable
