The Portsmouth Academy is seeking to appoint a dynamic and strategic Head of Mathematics & Statistics to lead our Maths department. You will join our team of committed professionals teaching our fantastic students from years 7 -11.  You will be passionate about maths and the development of maths pedagogy and curriculum.  Alongside the leadership of Maths, you will also play a significant role in whole school development.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career towards a future senior leadership position.

  • Be a qualified teacher of Maths and able to deliver to KS3 & KS4

  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
  • High expectations for yourself and the students to ensure that all achieve their very best
