Salary:         TSAT Lead Practitioner Scale LP3 – LP7 £47,226 - £51,482 per annum 

Contract:     Permanent, Full-time hours - We also welcome applications from applicants seeking part time hours

Are you looking for a leadership role in which you can utilise your subject expertise and inspire others? 

 

As Trust Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the professional development of our teaching staff and ensuring high-quality teaching practices are implemented in the classroom. This role is a key position in our Trust leadership team, and we are looking for exceptional candidates who can lead by example and inspire subject staff to achieve their best. 

 This role will be split between 4 days working at Brixham College and 1 day per a week in Trust role. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing an outstanding MFL education at the College. ?They will be a creative and dynamic practitioner with a passion for MFL that enthuses and engages students of all abilities and ages, having high expectations of all students to help them fulfil their potential.

Your New Role: 

  • You will lead on the development and implementation of teaching and learning strategies in our schools in your subject 
  • Provide expert coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their practice and ensure high-quality teaching standards are maintained 
  • Work closely with the Trust Leadership Team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to teaching and learning 
  • Lead on the development and delivery of staff training programmes to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes 
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of teaching and learning initiatives in schools

What you’ll need to succeed: 

  • Qualified teacher status with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience 
  • Willingness to support cross phase from KS1 to KS5 
  • Proven track record of outstanding teaching practice and student outcomes 
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teachers to improve their practice 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive   relationships with staff, parents, and students 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and lead a team effectively 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to ongoing professional development
