Teaching Assistant

Salary: TSAT Pay Group 2 £20,252 - £23,918 per annum (£14,423.24 - £17,034.13 for hours and weeks stated) Please note this is subject to agreement in line with September 2022 salary increases but the amounts shown are a minimum of what you will earn and if any changes are made they will be increases on the amount shown. 

 

Hours per week: 30 hours per week, term time + 5 INSET days

Contract: Permanent

We require a Teaching Assistant to join us to work across Newbridge Junior School & Penhale Infant School. You will be willing to take the opportunity to play a full part in the further development of our school and join us in our aims to make learning irresistible and to provide a nurturing and safe environment for everyone. The successful applicant will be helping students in our Inclusion Centre as well as the wider school.

You will need to hold a relevant L2 or higher childcare qualification, have good communication skills and excellent literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent, Grade C or above). Good ICT skills would also be desirable.
