Salary:  TSAT Pay Group 4 £25,743 - £30,198 per annum - -Please note this is subject to agreement in line with September 2022 salary increases but the amounts shown are a minimum  of what you will earn 

Hours:  37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year however we would consider part time applications 

Location:  Medway – New Horizons Children’s Academy, Chatham 

OR

Portsmouth - The Portsmouth Academy, Portsmouth

 Hybrid working is available for both roles

 The Role

You will support the Recruitment Manager in the management of the Trust recruitment service with attraction, recruitment, retention and onboarding. You will ensure we continue to offer an excellence service to our schools . You will be a proactive professional and be first point of contact for both candidates and new staff during the onboarding process.

We operate our recruitment service fully in-house and you will help ensure we continue to offer a reliable cost effective service to meet the changing needs of our workforce. Building relationships is key to this role and the successful applicant will have strong  communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

This is an exciting time to join our recruitment team as you will co-lead a number of  projects including developing our recruitment ATS, development of our Trust Talent Pool and analyising our recruitment data to ensure ROI.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Knowledge of attraction and recruitment strategies as well as pre-employment checks
  • Monitor successful and unsuccessful attraction methods and adjust procedures and strategies accordingly 
  • Assist with recruitment reporting to internal stakeholders to show current recruitment trends 
  • Able to work independently and manage own workload and time effectively 
  • Coordinate the preferred supply agency list for the Trust and update school supply coordinators accordingly 
  • Development and management of talent pools and CV libraries to ensure quality candidates are retained and utilised across the Trust.
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of the Recruitment and on boarding system
  • Support the development of the recruitment processes and systems, identifying improvements 
  • Maintain confidentiality inside and outside of the workplace
  • Carry out new starter audits on a termly basis at your designated schools
  • Working knowledge of candidate generation via social media
  • Previous experience of working within a recruitment team is essential 
  • Previous experience of working for an employment agency is desirable but not essential
