Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The Role

We are looking for an experienced sports and or leisure professional to join us as our Sports Centre and Lettings Regional Manager to drive the performance and income generation of our sports centers and lettings facilities.

This is an exciting time to join us  with the opening of our new gym on the site of Rochester Grammar School for Girls opening later this year. You will have a chance to help shape the success and vision as Thinking Fitness continues to grow.

50% of your time will be focused leading on the operational management and commercial aspects of Thinking Fitness sites in Medway, overseeing the successful existing sports centre at Holcombe Grammar School and the new to open sports centre in Rochester, whilst also supporting from afar our newly acquire facility in Devon (Plympton Academy).

The Sports Centre & Lettings Regional Manager will spend the other 50% of their time managing operations and driving income generation during out of school hours. The successful applicant will also line manage the staff that fall within our lettings function.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous operational management experience in the sport and leisure industry
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service, financial returns and enhancing the profile of Thinking Schools Academy Trust in the wider community
  • Have a track record in the delivery of targets and projects within timeframe and meeting KPIs
  • Have experience of managing stakeholder at all levels with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Experience of delivering and developing business plans including profit and loss accountability.
  • Identify opportunities our schools to gain access to sporting grants and write bid applications for those grants.
