Meon Junior School is a friendly 3 form entry school where we have a highly motivated and talented team and children are encouraged to become confident, caring and articulate and to use their abilities to the full. We provide an atmosphere, which enables the children to acquire a wide range of knowledge, skills and practical abilities.

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join Meon Junior School as a Year 5 Key Stage 2 Classroom Teacher.The principal responsibilities of this post are to enable students to access learning by supervising and assisting them across a wide range of activities and supported learning. 

 

What you will need to succeed:

 

  • QTS and excellent knowledge of teaching
  • Dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
  • Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
  • Excellent classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Good or Outstanding practice, along with high expectations for yourself and the children
