Holcombe Grammar school require a Design and Technology specialist teacher to join an established high achieving department that is in the process of expansion and modernisation. What you will need to succeed:

The candidate is expected to be a creative, passionate and driven teacher that thrives in a collaborative environment. The teacher will be expected to teach across all core design technology specialisms at KS3 including Food, Textiles, Resistant materials and Graphics and have some CAD/CAM background. However, the department will offer training to gap fill subject knowledge. The ideal candidate would have specialist knowledge in Resistant Materials, Engineering or Product Design as these are the departments lead qualifications and possible areas of development. This role is ideal for an established teacher who wants to develop to outstanding or a NQT who is looking for a long-term project to grow their practice in.
