Learning Support Specialist Teacher, Upper School (Y7 – Y13)
Full-time (part-time may be considered), permanent, with effect from January 2026
Salary: The base salary for this role will be on KAS scale and the positioning will depend on experience. [The KAS scale is the same as the Outer London pay scale, with the addition of the KAS supplement.

We are looking for an experienced and talented teacher to join our wonderful Upper School Learning Support Team in January 2026, offering support in Literacy and Maths to groups and individuals, predominantly at KS3.
The successful candidate will:
• Be passionate about learning and keen to develop professionally
• Value and promote student voice within learning experience
• Understand and embrace the benefits of working collaboratively with colleagues
As well as sharing our values, the ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in any subject with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent
• Level 5 or Level 7 SpLD qualification
• Evidence of successful intervention work with students with SpLD profiles
• Several years demonstrable teaching experience including KS3/KS4
• Ability to establish successful relationships with pupils, parents and staff
