We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, and innovative Sport and Extended Services Lead to join our team at Fox Grove School.

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced individual who can help each pupil develop the skills & knowledge they need to progress independently to the next phase of their educational journey.

We are seeking someone with prior experience of wider sports interventions, including swimming; coaching and working alongside young people to develop and lead clubs and the PE curriculum within school. Ideally you will have held previous roles working with children with additional needs although this is not a pre-requisite if you are keen to develop your skills and learn.

Fox Grove is a new special school supporting children and young people with complex communication & interaction needs in primary, secondary and Post-16 phases. We are now seeking to appoint an exceptional sports coach and extended services lead who is passionate about getting all our children active.

Fox Grove is part of The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT), a family of schools who work together to use and share a wide range of expertise and services.

Fox Grove will support your professional development to become outstanding classroom practitioners, this includes:
• Being part of The Howard Partnership Trust that has expertise in all areas of SEND as it is a family of primary, secondary, specialist centres and special schools.
• A comprehensive and interesting induction and training package
• Keen and eager children who are learning how to learn and ultimately love learning
• Friendly and supportive staff and parents

THPT value their staff very highly, as reflected in the excellent retention rates across the Trust. THPT also operate an extensive Rewards and Benefits Scheme that includes Loyalty & Service Awards, access to discount schemes and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.

If, prior to applying you are interested in finding out more about this role, you are warmly welcomed to contact Vicky Jones our School Office Manager, initially via email vicky.jones@foxgrove.thpt.org.uk and we will be pleased to talk to you further.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The Howard Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Our Vision is to excel at ‘bringing out the best’ in young people of all abilities and aptitudes, and so increase their life chances for their future success and fulfilment.
