We have an exciting opportunity for a Swimming Instructor to join the team at Eastwick Schools.

Working Pattern: claims paid exact hours to be confirmed at interview

At Eastwick Schools we are lucky enough to have our own onsite swimming pool that the children can enjoy and benefit from.

This role is to teach children the necessary techniques (following the National Curriculum) for managing their own safety when in water and to promote their self-confidence and enjoyment in their ability to swim as a form of individual or team recreation.

Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills with a commitment to helping. The post holder will maintain confidentiality in and outside of the workplace and be pro-active in matters relating to health and safety and report accidents as required. You will support the aims and ethos of the school by setting a good example in terms of safeguarding of young people as well as being punctual, reliable and supportive.

At Eastwick we believe that children get just one childhood; it should be a magical and happy time where education should leave a host of positive and deep, meaningful memories that last for the rest of their lives. With this in mind children are at the heart of every decision we make. We aim for every child to be happy, confident risk takers who fulfil their potential. We provide a nurturing environment where we value each child and promote positive attitudes and lifelong learning to help children grow into independent, respectful and creative adults with their own unique gifts and talents. Eastwick School is a federation of Eastwick Infant School and Eastwick Junior School offering inspirational education to children from 4 to 11 years. There are 3 classes in each year group and a 22 place Special Needs Centre in each school.
