Salary: Soulbury Salary Scale A2-7 (£40,838 – £50,584pa based on a 36-hour working week) plus up to 3 SPA points.

We have an exciting opportunity for a reflective and resourceful Educational Psychologist to join our hard-working, supportive and friendly team within The Howard Partnership Trust, that provide a comprehensive psychology service and support the various schools and children within the range of schools.

Our service encourages collaborative and flexible working, whilst being committed to developing EP’s professional skills. At THPT we encourage the use of positive and evidence-based psychology to support the children while prioritising professional wellbeing.

The Service is located at the Fox Grove school, based in Leatherhead and offer the following:
• Assessment and intervention in relation to children causing concern
• Work with parents and carers
• Cognitive behavioural approaches
• Training, development and coaching for school and setting staff

Essential Requirements:
• Is an excellent practitioner with good communication, interpersonal, organisation and time management skills;
• Is reliable, flexible, able to show initiative and take responsibility;
• Is committed to consultative problem solving as a model of service delivery;
• Has a sound knowledge of evidenced based interventions;
• Has professional educational qualifications (usually a Doctorate) recognised by the BPS, has HCPC registration.

Applicants must also be registered with the HCPC, or expect to be on completion of their training
