Where possible interviews will be held on site within our schools and we will adhere to our current Covid policy for external visitors. Otherwise interviews will be held remotely by teams or skype.



Working Pattern: Alternating on a weekly basis; Week 1, 6.45am to 2.45pm (with a 48 minute unpaid lunch break), Week 2: 9.30am to 5.30pm (with a 48 minute unpaid lunch break). There may be flexibility on this, which can be discussed at interview.


We have an exciting opportunity for a Caretaker to join our growing Estates team at Three Rivers Academy in Hersham. We require a friendly, reliable, and flexible person who is conscientious and keen to make a difference and assist in keeping our premises and grounds to a high standard. Ideally you will have a good standard of maintenance experience and an understanding of basic health and safety parameters. Previous experience of working within a school is desirable but not essential.

You will be responsible for general site maintenance with a varied skill set to include at least three of the following areas:

• general site maintenance (cleaning, litter picking, refilling consumables, etc.)
• able to use a variety of hand tools, drills, saws, etc.
• painting/decorating
• basic plumbing skills
• computer literate, using excel and word templates, etc.
• willing to drive a minibus
• manual handling (porterage) and working at heights (gutter cleaning)

Training can be provided on areas which you are not familiar with, where required.
