Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 3.30pm with an hour unpaid break


We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Designated Safeguarding and Well Being Lead to join the team at the Meadhurst Primary School. This role works closely with the DSL, Year Teams, external support services (counsellors and Eikon) providing comprehensive overview and monitoring of safeguarding concerns.

The postholder will be competent in a range of IT tools and maintain confidentiality in and outside of the workplace. You will be educated to A level, HNC or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level. The successful candidate will have good written and oral communication skills and
understanding of relevant regulations, processes and procedures and issues relating to the service user group.

We are developing excellent primary pedagogy and practice together with a dynamic and engaging curriculum. Meadhurst is a three form entry primary school and also provides access and support for pupils with a full range of Special Educational Needs that one would expect to find in an inclusive mainstream primary school, with a designated Speech, Language and Communication Centre which caters for up 20 pupils.
