BECOME A VOLUNTEER WITHIN THPT



We are now inviting volunteer applications for the academic year starting 1 September 2021.



We warmly welcome anyone to apply to join us a volunteer within THPT - together we are committed to ‘Bring out the Best’ in all our pupils and students. The passion, dedication and skill sets offered by our volunteers are greatly respected and supported, and all our volunteers are valued and recognised for the time they contribute to the Trust.

Application Process
1. Apply via our online application form using the 'Apply' button below.
2. Email the school or schools you are interested in to let them know you have applied.
3. If we have a suitable volunteer opportunity, you will be contacted by the HR Team who will carry out requisite safeguarding checks (detailed below).
4. Once all checks are complete, the HR Team or respective Head of School will contact you directly to discuss and confirm the details of your volunteer role.

Due to the high volume of volunteer applications we receive, please assume that we currently have no opportunities at your desired school if you do not hear from us within three weeks of applying. However, we will securely hold your details up to 31 August 2022 in line with our GDPR policy.

Safeguarding
• All voluntary roles within THPT are subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which will be fully funded by THPT. You will be required to sign up to the DBS Update Service free of charge and provide evidence of doing so before we can confirm your volunteer status.
• All volunteers will be obliged to produce their right to work or stay in the UK documentation, and we will request a minimum of two satisfactory references.
• The Howard Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
