At St Christopher's Nursery, we believe exceptional Early Years education starts with exceptional people. We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our small and welcoming nursery, where every child is known as an individual and every member of the team has an important part to play.

What You'll Be Doing
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and develop.
You'll:
Build warm and positive relationships with children, supporting their individual needs and interests.
Plan and provide engaging activities and experiences in line with the EYFS.
Support children's learning, development and next steps through observations and assessment.
Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social development.
Work closely with parents and carers, building positive relationships and sharing information about their child's day and development.
Contribute to a welcoming and stimulating nursery environment.
Work closely with colleagues as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and hygiene.
Take an active role in the wider life of this lovely small nursery.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
A minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification recognised as full and relevant.
Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting.
A good understanding of the EYFS and children's development.
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
A warm, caring and positive approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
A genuine passion for Early Years and helping children get the best possible start in life.
