Parent and Child Swimming Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, committed and well-qualified Parent and Child Swimming Teacher to join the swimming team at Yateley Manor School. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a weekly parent and child swimming session, helping young children develop water confidence and key aquatic skills in a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment. The successful candidate will work closely with families, providing engaging lessons that support children in their early swimming journey.
We are looking for a swimming teacher who can join our team and work alongside our passionate and well-qualified staff. Experience of teaching parent and child, baby or pre-school swimming lessons is desirable, as you will play a key role in the school's growing swimming programme.

The Successful Candidate Will:
• Plan and deliver high-quality parent and child swimming lessons for babies, toddlers and young children.
• Create a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes water confidence and enjoyment.
• Monitor and evaluate participant progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
• Provide constructive verbal feedback to parents and carers to support children's aquatic development.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and their families.
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and poolside supervision.
• Work in accordance with School policies and Swim England best practice guidance.
• Promote positive behaviour and an encouraging learning atmosphere.
Essential Requirements:
• Relevant swimming teaching qualification.
• Experience delivering parent and child swimming sessions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
