Job Description

Nursery Practitioner – Baby Room

Do you have a passion for nurturing and developing infants?

While prior baby room experience is highly desirable, it is not strictly essential—if you are a qualified practitioner who loves working with the under-2s, we want to hear from you!

Additionally, if you do not hold a qualification but have nursery experience, we encourage you to apply! Opportunities for Apprenticeships to gain your qualification are available!

Quick Details

Salary: Up to £31,185 per year (DOE, Full-Time Equivalent)
Hours: Full-time, permanent, year-round (Nursery open 7:30am–6pm, Mon–Fri)
Schedule: 5 days (4-day shift patterns can be discussed)
Location: Kingston upon Thames, Surrey (KT2)

Key Responsibilities

Create safe, stimulating, and sensory-rich activities for infants
Deliver high-quality care, tracking developmental milestones under the EYFS
Build strong, reassuring relationships with parents and families
Maintain impeccable safety, hygiene, and safeguarding standards
What You Need to Apply

Full & relevant Level 2+ Early Years qualification (DfE-approved) is desirable but not essential
Previous nursery or childcare experience (baby room experience is a plus!)
Strong understanding of infant care, EYFS, and safeguarding
A gentle, caring, positive, and collaborative approach
