Weekend Cleaner
Hours of Work: Sundays, 1:00pm to 5:00pm (4 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent / Part Time / 52 Weeks
Start Date: 1 September 2026
Location: St. Francis' College, Letchworth Garden City
St. Francis' College is looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Cleaner to join our friendly team. The role involves general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning washroom facilities.
Located in the heart of Letchworth Garden City, St. Francis' College has been providing an exceptional education for girls for over 85 years and is renowned for its academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and wide range of extracurricular opportunities.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous cleaning experience.
Has a positive and flexible approach to work.
Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Is reliable, punctual, and well presented.
Has a good understanding of health and safety and the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
Has excellent attention to detail and takes a proactive approach to their work.
Understands the importance of safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment for students and staff.
Has experience working in an educational setting (desirable).
