Little Robins Nursery is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our growing Early Years team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Early Years professional looking to lead a room, inspire colleagues and help deliver outstanding childcare and education within a supportive nursery environment.

We are pleased to offer both full-time contracts and our new 4-day-per-week working pattern, providing greater flexibility while maintaining excellent career development opportunities.

About the Role

As Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care, learning and development for all children.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the room team and daily nursery activities
Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
Overseeing observations, assessments and children's learning journeys
Maintaining a safe, organised and stimulating environment
Supporting, mentoring and motivating team members
Building strong relationships with children, parents and carers
Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety policies are consistently followed
Contributing to the ongoing development of nursery practice and standards
Essential Requirements

Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification recognised by the DfE
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
Previous experience leading a room or mentoring nursery staff
Strong communication and organisational skills
A warm, positive and professional approach
