School Cleaner - Maternity Cover
Part Time (20 hours/week) - Fixed Term Contract
Start Date - 17/08/2026
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed cleaner to join the housekeeping team at Saint Felix School. The successful candidate should be able to provide general cleaning support across the school site as directed.
Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged from 2 to 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.

We are looking for a cleaner who;
Has prior cleaning experience.
Has a flexible approach to work and a ‘can do’ attitude.
Pays attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
Enjoys working as part of a team and is happy to get stuck in and support colleagues.
Has good verbal communication skills.
Is punctual and well presented.
This position would suit an experienced cleaner or someone looking to make a move into school sector.
