Start: August 2026
Salary: Up to £ DOE (FTE – pro rata for part time hours)
Opening Hours: 8am to 6pm, Mon–Fri
Location: Balgores Lane, Romford, Essex RM2 5JR

Gidea Park is a small, friendly setting where staff get to know each child in their care. Communication with parents, children and all staff is very important. The nursery is open 51 weeks a year and is an integral part of the whole school and our older pupils frequently interact and play with the nursery children throughout the day. We emphasis on academic development and the preparation for Reception, with the aim to ensure our children move to reception with embedded skills and knowledge.

The nursery is expanding and we are looking for passionate staff to take this journey with us. We would welcome applications from experienced Early Years Practitioners as well as those who have recently qualified. Our nursery caters for pupils from 6 months old.

• Plan and deliver engaging activities
• Observe and track children’s development
• Build strong relationships with families
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming setting
What You Need:
• Level 2+ Early Years qualification (DfE approved)
• Nursery/childcare experience
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
• A caring, positive approach
