Contract – Contractor, £12.71 per hour, plus holiday pay
Start date – July 2026
Location – Holbrook Road, Ipswich IP9 2RX

About the Role
Royal Hospital School is looking for Camp Instructors who are enthusiastic, dedicated and full of energy to support our Holiday Camp programme. You’ll help deliver fun, engaging activities for children aged 4–13 during every school holiday.
What You’ll Do
• Lead activities for children aged 4–13 using pre planned session content
• Create a positive environment that is fun, safe and supportive
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Model excellent behaviour and support other instructors during sessions
• Communicate clearly with parents and staff throughout the day
• Work reliably with strong time keeping and consistency
What We’re Looking For
• Calm, engaging and passionate individuals
• Experience working in a childcare setting
• Confidence managing small groups
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team and support others
• Energy and enthusiasm to deliver high quality sessions
All training will be provided to ensure your readiness for this role.
