• Swimming Teacher
• Part time, Flexible hours.
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, inspiring, committed and well qualified Swimming Teachers to join the swimming team at Yateley Manor School.
The Pool is open, Monday to Wednesdays 4.30 to 6.30, Saturdays and Sundays 8am to 11am. We are looking for teachers who could teach within these hours to suit their availability.
We are looking for a swimming teacher who can join our team and work with our passionate and well qualified staff. Experience in swimming is essential as you will play a key role in the schools swimming programme.
Yateley Manor is a leading co-educational independent school in the town of Yateley, North Hampshire. The School continues to thrive as an independent all through school for children aged 2 to 16, having recently expanded its provision to be 2 to 16 by September 2027.
The school’s reputation for academic excellence and a relentless focus on opportunities to build confidence for the future is well supported. The school is non-selective and a member of IAPS. Class sizes are small and teaching areas bright and purposeful. Facilities at the school include an indoor swimming pool, large sports hall, woodland learning area, climbing wall, and playing fields.

Our last ISI Inspection reported standards were met in all areas, testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff team.
Sport at Yateley is strong with pupils taking part in a range of sporting activities throughout the year. Pupils take part in fixtures every Wednesday and Friday competing against local schools. Pupils participate in a range of sports including Modern Pentathlon. We have various clubs on offer throughout the year including Mountain Biking and Biathlon.
We are looking for a Swimming teacher who will be able to;
• Teach swimmers of all age
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and achievements against defined targets through observation and gathering relevant data. To amend the defined targets as appropriate to take into account on-going assessment of student’s progress and individual needs and circumstances
• Provide objective and accurate feedback, written and verbal, appropriate to the intended audience regarding pupil progress and achievements, ensuring the availability of suitable evidence.
• Use school systems and procedures to positively reinforce good behaviour, anticipate and manage challenging behaviour and conflict
• The role may include supporting and implementing pupil’s personal programmes, relating to social, health, physical, hygiene and welfare matters, and appropriate communication methods
• Establish and maintain positive and appropriate relationships with students that engages, motivates and removes barriers to achieving their defined goals
• Support the role of parents in pupil learning and contribute to /lead meetings with parents to provide constructive feedback on pupil progress, achievement, problems etc.
• Abide by the School’s Code of Conduct and carry out duties in accordance with School and Swim England Policies
