Warlingham Park School is seeking to appoint an energetic, highly motivated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher who is passionate about outstanding learning and teaching. We would like to hear from team players who will bring a genuine love of education and a commitment to pupil wellbeing and wider school life.?It is an exciting time to join the school as our numbers and reputation continue to grow.

We are looking for qualified teachers with QTS who have experience of working within the KS1 curriculum.?The successful teacher will show a genuine commitment to creating an inspiring and stimulating child-centred learning environment. Teachers should be committed to ongoing school improvement and feel comfortable in a climate of change and innovative development. Teachers at Warlingham Park are expected to contribute to the co-curricular programme of activities

Based in Warlingham, Surrey, Warlingham Park Preparatory School is a truly inclusive, co-educational independent school for children aged 6 months to 11 years. • Are a qualified teacher who has completed appropriate QTS teacher training
• Are confident in teaching a broad range of subjects within the KS1 curriculum.
• Are able to provide an inclusive learning environment to suit all pupils
• Are willing to work with the School SENDCo to support pupils’ needs
• Are able to commit to and share the school’s values.
• Are able to meet all of the DfE Teachers’ standards
• Are dynamic, self-motivated and flexible
• Have high expectations of all pupils’ attainment, progress and behaviour
• Have strong digital skills – for enhancing learning and work efficiency
• Have a personal philosophy of teaching which reflects our approach
• Work effectively as part of a team, building positive relationships with colleagues
• Plan effectively and are sensitive to the learning needs of pupils of different abilities
• Regularly assesses pupils’ work formally and informally, using Assessment for Learning strategies
• Are approachable and confident in dealings with pupils’ parents and external agencies
• Have good administration skills
• Have good class management skills
• Are enthusiastic, innovative and creative with a commitment to the extra-curricular life of the school
