Position: Music Teacher,
Employment: Part Time, Permanent

We are currently looking to appoint a Music teacher to join us at Grange Park Preparatory School. This is a Part time teaching position starting in September 2026. The role is to teach 2 days per week with the opportunity to deliver peripatetic music lessons too.

Grange Park Preparatory School and Nursery based in Enfield, North London is a co-educational independent school for children aged 3 -11 years, which provides a broad and balanced education within a unique setting. It offers an individually focused education in a friendly environment, promoting excellence in learning and encouraging exceptional behaviour. It is a truly inclusive school with a unique family feel and offers small classes, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and experiences catered to the needs and interests of every child. The school has a strong family atmosphere and prepare pupils exceptionally well for schools of their choice at age 11+.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Music teacher who is able to enthuse our pupils while providing the highest standard of teaching. The ability run our school production would be part of the role.

We would like to hear from you if you have the following qualifications & experiences:
• Qualified Teacher Status or evidence of music teaching experience.
• The ability to deliver high quality music lessons to pupils within Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Can inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of Music and learning.
• Have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the national curriculum.
• Are able to prepare and plan for teaching, taking account of the requirements of all children within their class.
• Can prepare and develop, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements.
• Have a love of music.
