Danesfield Manor School & Nursery
Early Years Practitioners – Full Time & Part Time

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £30,051 FTE (DOE) — pro rata for part time
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks per year

Hours of Work:
• Full Time: 40 hours per week, shifts of 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm (alternate weeks)
• Part Time: Part time, flexible days — must be able to work at least 3–4 days per week on the shift pattern (8am–5pm or 9am–6pm)

Danesfield Manor School & Nursery is delighted to be expanding our Early Years provision, making this a truly exciting time to join our team. We are seeking passionate, dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join us in both full time and part time permanent roles.

These positions are ideal for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified EYFS practitioners who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and eager to contribute to a nurturing, creative and growing nursery environment. You will work with children aged 6 months to 4 years, delivering high quality care and supporting their learning through our enriched EYFS curriculum.

Located in Walton-on-Thames, Danesfield Manor School is a one form entry independent school educating children from 6 months to 11 years. Our strong values and growth mindset approach empower pupils with confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. As our nursery expands, you will play a key role in shaping the next chapter of our Early Years journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers
• Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive
• Planning, observing and evaluating learning in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Maintaining accurate formative and summative assessment records
• Sharing responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness across the nursery
• Supporting the Early Years Manager and Deputy in maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:
• Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS/Childcare qualification (essential)
• Experience working with young children in an Early Years setting
• A warm, enthusiastic and proactive approach
• Creativity, resilience and a genuine passion for early childhood education
• Commitment to either:
o Full time hours, or
o Part time hours with at least 3–4 consistent days per week
• Someone excited to join a nursery that is growing and evolving
