Job Description

• Payroll Officer
• Up to £38,000 pa depending on experience
• Permanent, 40 hours per week
• Inspired Learning Group, Stanmore, HA7 3HD.

Inspired Learning Group is currently looking to appoint a Payroll Officer to join their Payroll and Finance team.

With the head office based in Stanmore, ILG currently owns and operates 31 independent schools and nurseries in the UK. As our Payroll Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This includes maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting employees with payroll-related queries. The role plays a key part in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, has excellent financial and payroll understanding. The ability to positively work with others is essential as you will be closely working with Head office staff and also staff on site at our schools and nurseries.

The main responsibilities of our Payroll officer will;
• Ensure that operational procedures and policies are fully understood and consistently followed.
• Maintain confidentiality in all dealings with the school.
• Maintain confidentiality in all dealings on behalf of ILG.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other team members.
• Actively contribute and participate as part of the team, attending team meetings and activities.
• Always behaves and dresses in a professional manner.
• Maintain workspace in a neat and presentable manner, in keeping with professional expectations.
