Teacher or Head of Classics and Latin (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Classics and Latin to join St. Francis` College. You will join an excellent team and be responsible for teaching Classics at A Level and Latin in Key Stages 3 and 4, helping our pupils to achieve their individual potential and to work as part of a team to help achieve the overall aims of the College. For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to take on the role of Head of Department during this maternity cover.
Set in the midst of Letchworth Garden City, St. Francis' College has been providing a first-class education for girls for over 85 years, blending traditional values and a modern vision.

Classics and Latin are popular subjects at the College. In the Latin curriculum, we aim to instil a love of literature, language, and culture and develop students’ curiosity around and appreciation for the Ancient World.
