Westbury House Preparatory School and Nursery
Position: Lunchtime Assistant
Hours: 15 hours per week
Contract term: Permanent
Start date: ASAP

We are looking to recruit a lunchtime supervisor to join our wonderful staff team at Westbury House School Starting in April 2025 we are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our team at Westbury House School.

Westbury House Preparatory School and Nursery has a strong family atmosphere and prepares pupils exceptionally well for schools of their choice at age 11+. The site is a small, friendly preparatory school which also includes a thriving nursery that educates boys and girls aged 2 years to 11 years old. It together holds places for up to 104 children. Westbury House Preparatory School and Nursery has a unique and charming atmosphere, seldom found in schools today. The well-equipped playground provides ample space for outdoor learning and play.

Although this is a non-teaching position all staff at Westbury House School are involved in pupils ‘development and our focus on pastoral care underpins all we do and. Our Lunch Time supervisor will have direct contact with the pupils as part of the role.

Purpose of the Job:
• Supervise the pupils during the mealtime period to minimise any disruption, so that all pupils are safe, cared for and have an enjoyable and sociable lunchtime.
• Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.
• Assist with tidying and clearing in the kitchen as required.
