We are currently looking to appoint an Art Teacher to join our wonderful teaching team, from September 2025. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and well qualified teacher to join our school. You will be teaching our amazing, hardworking and outstanding KS2 pupils.
We are looking for an enthusiastic art teacher who will be able to excite our pupils and provide them with stimulating, thoughtful and exciting art lessons along with encouraging them to excel in every area. This role would be suitable for experienced teachers or those early in their career.
As our Art Teacher you will teach KS2 pupils only, the role is for one day a week, teaching 4 hour long lessons a day as well as an hour-long club after school and a half an hour club at lunch time.

The successful teacher should be passionate about children’s learning and be able to motivate students to achieve in every area of the school’s curriculum.
We are looking to appoint an Art teacher who is able to demonstrate the following;
• Be an outstanding practitioner able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
• Have experience of teaching art at Key Stage 2.
• Share the schools values
• Be dynamic, self-motivated and flexible
• Have high expectations of pupils’ attainment, progress and behaviour
• Have strong digital skills – for enhancing learning and work efficiency
• Have a personal philosophy of teaching which reflects our approach
• Work effectively as part of a team, building positive relationships with colleagues
• Plan effectively and is sensitive to the learning needs of pupils of different abilities
• Regularly assesses pupils’ work formally and informally, using Assessment for Learning strategies
• Be approachable and confident in dealings with pupils’ parents and external agencies
• Have good administration skills
• Have good class management skills
• Be enthusiastic, innovative and creative with a commitment to the extra-curricular life of the school, particularly with school productions and overseeing and making the props required
• Be prepared to lead a subject.
