Rookwood School is a successful non-selective co-educational independent day and boarding school located a short walk from the picturesque market town of Andover, Hampshire. With a new Sixth Form, we are the only independent ‘all-through’ school in the Andover area, educating from the age of 2 to 18.
Description of Role
We are seeking to appoint a General Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team on a temporary contract to cover long term absence. As part of a new and thriving kitchen under the guidance of our talented chef, you’ll play a key role in preparing and serving healthy, nourishing meals.
The successful candidate should be passionate about food and working with children.
Applicants should demonstrate the following qualifications & experiences:
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Team working: Working seamlessly with chefs and catering team
• Manages deliveries and stock rotation
• Assists in serving our wonderful students in the dining area
• Willingness to take on all catering related duties, including food preparation, setting up the dining hall, serving food with enthusiasm, cleaning and clearing after service.
