Job Description

Head of Boarding

Contract/Hours: Full Time
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
Location of Role: Rookwood School, Andover

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Head of Boarding at Rookwood School. This important role will be to provide all boarders with the best possible boarding experience by providing a home-from-home challenging yet supportive environment. Experience in previous boarding roles would be looked upon favourably.

Rookwood School is a successful non-selective co-educational independent school located a short walk from the picturesque market town of Andover, Hampshire. With a new Sixth Form, we are the only independent ‘all-through’ school in the Andover area, educating from the age of 2 to 18.

We are looking for a head of boarding who:
· Believes in young people
· Is dynamic, innovative and inspirational in everything they do
· Is passionate about pupil support and is keen to improve standards
· Ensures all students succeed and are able to achieve their maximum potential
· can assist in the development of the boarding strategy and to promote boarding
· Is committed to raising standards of attainment and developing the success of all pupils
· Enjoys working as part of a team
· Sets high expectations of themselves and their students
