Early Years Nursery Practitioner

Position: Early Years Nursery Practitioner
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum FTE (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract type: Full Time - 52 weeks
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Little Rooks Nursery is located within the beautiful grounds of Rookwood School, a successful non-selective co-educational Independent School with a strong family atmosphere that prepares children in our nursery aged 6 months to 5 years exceptionally well for their first steps in school.

We believe in recruiting and training the very best early years practitioners and staff to meet the needs of all young babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers in our care.

We are entering an exciting new phase where we are looking to expand our nursery provision to best support local families as an all-year-round setting.

We are seeking to appoint outstanding Early Years Practitioners to join our fantastic Nursery Team. Due to the growth of the nursery opportunities are available for apprenticeships, Level 2 and Level 3 qualified practitioners as well room leaders.

You will be highly creative, passionate about children’s learning in the Early Years and demonstrate high professional standards. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Assistant or similar) and a strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the Early Years Framework will be an advantage, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
