Job Description

Nursery: Buxlow School & Nursery
Position: Early Years Practitioner, Baby Room, Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Wembley, London
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm (with 1-hour unpaid break)
9:00 am - 6:00 pm (with 1-hour unpaid break)
We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Baby Room. The nursery is situated in Wembley, close to transport links. The nursery has access to London and an abundance of activities at its doorstep.

Opening Times: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, 51 weeks per year
About the Role
Plan, create, and implement engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Keep a record of children’s progress and reflect on learning practices.
Communicate to develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships.
Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene, as well as following all child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
Provide support to other nursery staff members and work collaboratively with them.
About You
Full and Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
Enthusiasm for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the Early Years Framework
