Caring for older people in the Borders is extremely important to Eildon.
Our Catering Assistants play an important role in the team at Wilkie Gardens, Galashiels, Eildon’s Extra Care Housing service in Galashiels. The shifts are arranged over 7 days covering the preparation and provision of two meals per day, you will work from 11.00am until 6.00pm on a 3-weekly rota for your contracted days which includes weekend shifts.
You will ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained within the kitchen and dining room as well as assisting the Cooks preparing and producing varied and nutritious meals for tenants.
You will need to have an interest in people along with a positive can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to multitask. Most importantly you should share Eildon’s vision and values.
