Be Part of Something Meaningful – Join Our Growing Team!

We are expanding our team to support a young man living in Kelso to move into his own home and become more independent. With a love for socialising and outdoor activities, he’s looking for energetic, creative, and flexible people to help make his journey a success. If you’re someone who can keep things stimulating, support community access, and appreciate the value of quiet, sensory time – we want to hear from you!

This is a unique opportunity to shape a truly person-centred support experience. You’ll be joining an experienced team already supporting another young man, offering variety in shifts and activities. If you’re adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to make a real difference, come help us build something special!

We have over thirty years’ experience of providing high quality homes, care and support to people with learning disabilities in the Scottish Borders. Our specialist learning disability service is growing, and we are excited to be able to support this young man on his journey.

We have opportunities for Support Workers to join a new team at our Learning Disability Service in Kelso on a variety of contracted hours ranging from 16 to 37.5 hours per week. We are looking to fill several various working patterns, including weekend work if that suits your schedule better.

We will support you to achieve an SVQ3 in Social Services and Healthcare and provide all other training. We also offer a competitive reward package and a range of benefits, including private healthcare membership. This role requires a full UK Driving Licence, membership of the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme and SSSC Registration - we will also reimburse registration fees.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity further, please contact Elaine Firth, Learning Disability Manager on 07917 638018.
