We're expanding our dedicated team to support a young man with learning disabilities returning to the Borders to begin an exciting new chapter. With a love for dancing, gardening, cycling, games, and outdoor adventures (especially BBQs!), he’s looking for energetic, creative, and flexible people to help make his journey a success. We have over thirty years’ experience of providing high quality homes, care and support to people with learning disabilities in the Scottish Borders. Our specialist learning disability service is growing, and we are excited to be able to support this young man on his journey.
We have opportunities for Support Workers to join a new team at our Learning Disability Service in Kelso on a variety of contracted hours ranging from 16 to 37.5 hours per week. We are looking to fill several varying shift patterns including waking nights.
You should ideally have (or be willing to work towards) an SVQ3 at SCQF Level 7 in Social Services and Healthcare. We can fund places on this course, and will provide all other training. We also offer a competitive reward package and a range of benefits, including private healthcare membership. This role requires a full UK Driving Licence, membership of the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme and SSSC Registration - we will also reimburse registration fees.
