Advert Details

Borders Care & Repair assists the elderly and disabled to remain in their own homes by providing help and advice on repairs, improvements and adaptations.

You will arrange appointments and carry out assessments of small repairs, adaptations and improvements; advise on cost; agree tasks to be undertaken and make arrangements for work to be carried out. You may also be required to fit adaptation equipment.

Experience as a time served tradesperson would be an advantage, but ideally you should have good all round DIY experience or experience in adaptation provision.

A current full driving licence and membership of the PVG scheme is required.

Closing date: MIDNIGHT on Sunday 16 February 2025
