Rivington & Blackrod High School
Temporary Teacher of Maths (Maternity Cover)
Salary: Main Scale
Full Time – Fixed Term Post (4 or 5 days a week considered)
Required for January 2023 (or sooner, if possible)


The school is looking to appoint a teacher of Year 7 Maths at our lower school site, on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave. Working within our busy Maths department, we are looking for a passionate teacher, with high expectations of standards and achievements, who is committed to inspiring our students, to reach their full potential in Year 7 Maths. The role would suit a teacher with experience of teaching mathematics to Upper Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3 pupils.

The school has strong links with the local community with a heritage of over 450 years and is successful and popular with parents. You will be joining a Staff Team that is committed, welcoming, supportive and friendly.
